Cessation of Share N Surf

General

Share N Surf, formerly known as Multi-SIM One Line, allows you to share your mobile number and the monthly data quota of your primary SIM with multiple SIMs (secondary SIMs) on various devices, such as smartphones and tablets. Please note that this product is no longer available for new registrations as of July 21, 2021; The plan for the secondary SIMs are referred to as the “New Standard Plan” on your Maxis bill.
The Share N Surf service will end on 19 Feb 2025. This product is based on outdated technology that is no longer supported and fails to accommodate recent advancements in network capabilities, including Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWiFi), and 5G.

Continuing to utilize this service may result in limitations in network connectivity and potential complications when attempting to subscribe to new services. As we phase out this service, we are also guiding our customers towards more modern and advanced alternatives that are better suited to their current needs. This transition aims to enhance user experience and ensure compatibility with the latest technological developments.
We are enhancing your plan to provide you with 30 GB of monthly data and FREE 300 minutes of local calls from 20 Feb 2025. As a result, the call and data-sharing service between primary and secondary lines will no longer be required. There will be no change to your current subscription fee.

If you need more data and call minutes, you may consider changing your plan to Maxis Postpaid Share, which allows you to enjoy limited data and share data with your principal line*. Please note that the principal line must be on a Maxis Postpaid plan to have a share line on Maxis Postpaid Share.
With the enhancement and removal of MISM service, the line with own mobile number on New Standard plan enjoying bundled mobile data and minutes to be used locally.

Any usages (mobile data and calls) above the bundled minutes will be charged.

Domestic:

Mobile Data, above the bundled data, your usage will be throttled to 64kpbs. Alternately, you can buy mobile data pass 10GB 30 Days at RM15

Call: RM0.15/30-Second Block

SMS: Your SMS usage RM0.05/SMS (ON-net), RM0.15/SMS (OFF-net)
