Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Home Fibre Offer for Selected Maxis Postpaid Customers

    1. This Offer: Sign up for the following Maxis Home Fibre Plans to enjoy the monthly rebate as follows:
    Maxis Home Fibre Plans Rebate Rebate Period
    Maxis Home Fibre 300Mbps, 500Mbps, 1Gbps, 2Gbps Plan Full rebate on monthly Maxis Home Fibre Charges  Three (3) months from second (2nd) or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of your Maxis Home Fibre Service
    1. Please note that:
      1. Rebate will commence within the second (2nd) or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of your Maxis Home Fibre Service;
      2. Each Maxis Home Fibre Plan is subject to a 24 months’ commitment period (inclusive of rebate duration), as per the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Home Fibre (previously known as Maxis Fibre Broadband); and
    1. You: Person(s) signing up for this Offer.
    2. Offer Availability Period: 17th December 2024 until 5th February 2025. Any extension or discontinuation of this Offer shall be at the sole discretion of Maxis.

    General:

    1. By subscribing to this Offer and your use of the Service(s) under this Offer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions which shall form an integral part and to be read together with the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/), this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”), the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Home Fibre (“Maxis Home Fibre SSTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/broadband/maxis-fibre/), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at  www.maxis.com.my/FUP) and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    2. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    3. We are entitled at our discretion without liability, from time to time, to vary, add to, remove or otherwise amend these terms and conditions or any part thereof and/or withdraw or cancel this Offer without any prior notice. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded.
    4. This Offer is not valid in conjunction with other on-going offers, discounts, net-price products, rebates or privileges, unless otherwise allowed by Maxis.
    5. Our decisions in any matter in relation to this Offer shall be final and conclusive and any request for appeal or review will not be entertained.
    6. All charges and prices stated are exclusive of all applicable taxes. Any applicable taxes shall be charged and added to the bills issued to you.
    7. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Maxis Home Fibre SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) Maxis Fibre SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.
    8. If any of the provision in these terms and conditions is held to be invalid, illegal and unenforceable under any applicable law or court of law or by any reasons whatsoever, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired in any way and such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision shall be deemed deleted.
    1. The eligibility to this Offer is subject to the following criteria:
      1. this Offer is offered to you by Maxis Centres;
      2. you must register for a new Maxis Home Fibre Plan (300Mbps, 500Mbps, 1Gbps or 2Gbps) on the same day this Offer is offered to you;
      3. you are an existing Maxis Postpaid Plan subscriber (Maxis Postpaid 98 and above) of at least one (1) year. Your Maxis Postpaid Plan and Maxis Home Fibre Plan will be converted to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre Plan (subject to Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre SSTC);
      4. you must not have any outstanding payments with us; and
      5. you are not a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    2. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria for this Offer from time to time.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Services / Plans under this Offer are as set out on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/. Charges published are exclusive of applicable taxes.
    2. You are responsible for the payment of all Charges associated with this Offer both during and after the Rebate Period.
    1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Home Fibre Service (signed up under this Offer) at your Premise, Maxis will assign the Rebate to your monthly bills of your Maxis Home Fibre Plan, as follows:
      1. the Rebate will commence within the second (2nd) month or third (3rd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Home Fibre Service, as determined by Maxis (“Rebate Assignment Date”) and the applicable Rebate will be spread over the next three (3) months’ period (“Rebate Period”).

        Example:
        If you signed up for Maxis Home Fibre 300Mbps and the Rebate Assignment Date is on the 15th day of the second (2nd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Home Fibre Service:
    Monthly Bills Rebate/per month Monthly Charges for Maxis Home Fibre Service
    1st No Rebate Monthly Charges
    2nd Pro-rated from 15th to the last day of the month Monthly Charges deducting the pro-rated Rebate
    3rd to 4th Full Rebate Nil
    5th Pro-rated from 1st to 14th day of the month Monthly Charges deducting the pro-rated Rebate
    1.  
      1. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be required to pay for the full or pro-rated monthly Charges for the Services under this Offer prior to the Rebate Assignment Date;
      2. After the expiry of the Rebate Period, the full monthly Charges for the respective Services will apply.
    1. You shall NOT during the Rebate Period:
      1. terminate your Maxis Home Fibre Plan;
      2. suspend your Maxis Home Fibre Plan;
      3. have your Maxis Home Fibre Plan terminated for non-payment of monthly bills; 
      4. change or transfer ownership of your Maxis Home Fibre Plan to another person; or 
      5. upgrade/downgrade your Maxis Home Fibre Plan.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 17 occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Rebate under this Offer and will be subject to termination charge as provided under the Maxis Fibre SSTC.
    3. To discontinue and/or terminate the Services, you must go to a Maxis Centre.
    4. Maxis reserves the right to terminate the Services under this Offer in the instance you suspend the Services under this Offer for any period exceeding 3 consecutive months and the consequences as per Clause 18 (as the case may be) may apply if such termination occurs during the Rebate Period.
    1. A deposit of RM300 for the Maxis Home Fibre Plan is chargeable for non-Malaysians subscribing for the Offer.
    2. Non-payment for the Service may result in suspension or barring of the Service until the outstanding amount is paid.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) under the Offer for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect any of such Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burden on our Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/; or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    1. This Offer is not exchangeable for cash or any other item.
    2. This Offer is not transferable.
    3. This Offer cannot be used together with other offers or promotions except for the Maxis Home Fibre Limited Time Offer (RM10 rebate x 24months) and the Postpaid and Fibre Bundle Promotion.
