Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Home Fibre Targeted Switchover Offer for Maxis Postpaid Customers

    1. This Offer: Sign up for Maxis Home Fibre 300Mbps, 500Mbps or 1Gbps Plan to enjoy the following rebates on the Charges of your monthly Maxis Home Fibre bill for a duration of 6 months (“Rebate”).
      Please note that:
      1. The Rebate under this Offer:
      Maxis Home Fibre Rebate on Monthly Charges
    i. Maxis Fibre 300Mbps Plan Full rebate (RM99/month) for the first 6 months
    ii. Maxis Fibre 500Mbps Plan Full rebate (RM139/month) for the first 6 months
    iii. Maxis Fibre 1Gbps Plan Full rebate (RM159/month) for the first 6 months
    1. The Rebate will commence upon successful installation of your Maxis Home Fibre Service (signed up under this Offer); and
    2. Each Maxis Home Fibre Plan is subject to a 24 months’ commitment period (inclusive of rebate duration), as

    2. Offer Availability Period: 14th June 2024 to 31st July 2024
    3. This Offer and your use of the Service(s) under this Offer is subject to:
      1. the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-consumer/ );
      2. this Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”);
      3. the Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Home Fibre (“Maxis Home Fibre SSTC”) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/broadband/maxis-fibre/);
      4. Maxis Fair Usage Policy (at www.maxis.com.my/FUP); and
      5. any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
    4. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    5. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Maxis Fibre SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) Maxis Home Fibre SSTC; (c) GTC; and (d) STC.
    6. We reserve the rights without liability to revise this SSTC, the Offer and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on this Offer (at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/promotions/campaigns/maxis-home-fibre-targeted-switchover-offer) and the Service(s) (at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/), including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) under this Offer (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Agreement and/or Service(s) relevant to this Offer) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you are entitled to terminate the Service(s) under this Offer and/or the use of the Service(s) under this Offer by giving us notice within fifteen (15) Working Days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.
    1. The eligibility to this Offer is subject to the following criteria:
      1. this Offer is offered to you by Maxis’ telesales agent; 
      2. you agree to switch to Maxis Home Fibre from other fibre service provider and provided Maxis with a copy of your latest three (3) months fibre bill from such fibre service provider, at the time of application for this Offer;
      3. you are currently NOT an existing Maxis Home Fibre customer;
      4. you are currently an existing Maxis Postpaid customer;
      5. you must not have any outstanding payments with us; and
      6. you are not a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    2. Notwithstanding the above, Maxis reserves the right to change the eligibility criteria, the selected buildings and postcodes for this Offer from time to time.
    1. The applicable Charges and rate table guide for the Services under this Offer are as set out on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/broadband/maxis-fibre/.Charges published are exclusive of applicable taxes.
    2. You are responsible for the payment of all Charges associated with this Offer (if any).
    1. After the successful installation of the Maxis Home Fibre Service (signed up under this Offer) at your Premises, Maxis will assign the Rebate to your Maxis Fibre Plan monthly bills, as follows:
      1. Maxis will determine the Rebate to your monthly bills (“Rebate Assignment Date”) and the applicable Rebate will be spread over the next six (6) months’ period (“Rebate Period”).
        Example:
        If the Rebate Assignment Date, as determined by Maxis is on the 15th day of the second (2nd) month after the successful installation of the Maxis Home Fibre Service:
    Monthly Bills Rebate/per month Monthly Charge
    1st No Rebate Full Charge
    2nd Pro-rated from 15th to the last day of the month Charges after deducting the pro-rated Rebate
    3rd  to 7th Full Rebate Charges after deducting the applicable Rebate
    8th Pro-rated from 1st to the 14th day of the month Charges after deducting the applicable pro-rated Rebate
    9th month onwards No rebate Full monthly charge
    1. For the avoidance of doubt, you will be required to pay for the full or pro-rated monthly Charges for your Maxis Home Fibre Plan prior to the Rebate Period.
    2. After the expiry of the Rebate Period, the full monthly Charges for the respective Maxis Home Fibre Plan will apply.
    1. You shall NOT during the Rebate Period:
      1. terminate your Maxis Home Fibre Plan;
      2. suspend your Maxis Home Fibre Plan;
      3. have your Maxis Home Fibre Plan terminated for non-payment of monthly bills; 
      4. change or transfer ownership of your Maxis Home Fibre Plan to another person; or 
      5. upgrade/downgrade your Maxis Home Fibre Plan. However, you are allowed to upgrade your Maxis Home Fibre Plan once the Rebate Period ends.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 13 occurs, you will no longer be entitled to the Rebate under this Offer and will be subject to termination charge as provided under the Maxis Home Fibre SSTC.
    3. To discontinue and/or terminate the Service, you must go to any Maxis Centre.
    4. Maxis reserves the right to terminate the Service under this Offer in the instance you suspend the Service under this Offer for any period exceeding 3 consecutive months and the consequences as per Clauses 14 (as the case may be) may apply if such termination occurs during the Rebate Period.
    1. A deposit of RM300 for the Maxis Home Fibre Plan is chargeable for non-Malaysians subscribing for the Offer.
    2. Non-payment for the Service may result in suspension or barring of the Service until the outstanding amount is paid.
    1. We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) under the Offer for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect any of such Service(s) if your usage:
      1. shows excessive usage or placing unusual burden on our Network;
      2. is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
      3. is not in accordance with the Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/; or
      4. is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
    1. This Offer is not exchangeable for cash.
    2. This Offer is not transferable.
    3. This Offer is not applicable to Maxis employees (permanent or contract).
