The Maxis Message Plus SMS Services
The Maxis Message Plus SMS (M+) services (“Service“ as hereinafter defined) is a platform that allows all Maxis Mobile Services Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Malaysian Mobile Services Sdn Bhd) ("MMSSB") subscribers to use the Auto-Reply SMS, Blacklist SMS and Copy SMS services. Auto-reply service allows pre-defined Text SMS message to be auto-replied when receiving a SMS from another Maxis subscriber. Blacklist SMS service allows a user to block other Maxis subscribers from sending SMS to the subscriber. Copy SMS service allows a Maxis subscriber to forward SMS to another subscriber when receiving SMS from another Maxis subscriber. This Message Plus SMS service is not phone dependent. This service is subject to a monthly service charge and normal SMS charges shall apply.

Maxis reserves the right to reveal the use of the Blacklist service to any 3rd party in the event of any enquiry and/or complaint such as in the event of you not receiving any SMS sent from the said 3rd parties.

To use, preview, download and/or subscribe for Message Plus SMS service, you will have to be a subscriber of Maxis' postpaid and prepaid (Hotlink) service.

Subscription, access and usage of this Message Plus SMS Service shall be subject to the General Terms and Conditions (which includes terms and conditions for Website Use, Rules of Acceptable Use and Privacy Statement) and terms and conditions for Postpaid Service or Prepaid Service (whichever applicable to you), which may be updated by MMSSB from time to time. The current version of these Terms and Conditions can be viewed at any time at http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/messageplus/index_messageplus.asp (herein referred to as "Site" and the references to this Site include the Services).

Subscribers are also reminded that any blocking of SMS from a short code series does not tantamount to stopping or terminating the relevant service. Subscribers shall be responsible for stopping the relevant service on their own and Maxis shall not be responsible for any charges incurred by the subscriber as a result of the subscriber’s failure to terminate or stop the relevant service.

Fees
You may use this Site at no charge for purposes of browsing the Services only. You will be charged for the use of this Service monthly as well as for SMS usage at the applicable rates stated and published from time to time. MMSSB and/or its Related Corporations reserve the right to amend these rates (without prior notice) at any time for any of the Services. Any amendments in relation to fees will be effective from the date it is published on this Site or such other dates as may be stipulated. You further agree that rates applicable for the Message Plus SMS service will be dependant on the usage of SMS.

System Integrity
You shall not use any mechanism, device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working and/or operation of this Site. You shall not take any action that places an unreasonable burden or excessive load on MMSSB's system(s). You agree not to infect this Site with any computer programming routine, including (without limitation) any virus, worm, time bomb, cancelbots or trojan horse, that may damage, interfere with, delay, intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information. You may not disclose to any third party or share your password, if any, or use your password for any unauthorised purpose. MMSSB and/or Related Corporations will not be liable or responsible for any charges incurred as a result of the usage of this Service through your MSISDN number.

This Site and the Service, is provided on an "AS IS" basis without any representation or warranties of any kind whether express or implied to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMSSB and/or its Related Corporations disclaim and exclude all warranties and liabilities relating to the content, information, services, products or materials included on this Site and MMSBS and/or its Related Corporations shall not be liable for any damages, losses, claims or liabilities which you may incur or suffer as a result of or in connection with the use of the Site and/or Service including (without limitation) any loss of information which may be suffered when a successfully blocked SMS is not received by the intended recipient.

Termination
MMSSB and/or its Related Corporations reserves the right, to terminate your access to or use of this Service for any reason including but not limited to violation of any terms of these Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions, terms and conditions for Postpaid Services or Prepaid Services and/or lack of use of this Service. You agree that MMSSB and/or its Related Corporations shall not be liable to you or any other party for any termination of your access to or use of this Service.

You agree that MMSSB and/or its Related Corporation have no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any content maintained or transmitted. You acknowledge that MMSSB reserves the right to log off accounts that are inactive for a period exceeding three (3) months.
