As part of Maxis’ commitment to keep our customers informed of any changes to services or billing charges, we would like to advise you of the following.

The Ministry of Energy, Communications and Multimedia has earlier announced in February 2002 of an increase in residential fixed line rental from RM22 to RM25 effective March 2003. However, Maxis will only introduce this increase from 17 May 2003.

Thus, your next telephone bill will show your new monthly rental charges inclusive of the pro-rated adjustment.
