  • Maxis 5G Home WiFi plan is available for both Malaysian and foreigner above the age 18 years.

  • We offer the following Maxis 5G Home WiFi plans from 7th March 2024:

    • Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69 offers 120GB 5G data at RM69/month;
    • Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99 offer 5G unlimited data plan up to 100Mbps only at RM99/month;
    • Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139 offer 5G unlimited data plan (uncapped speed) at RM139/month.
  • You will enjoy more benefits with Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99/139 plan compared to Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69 plan.​

    Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99/139 offers unlimited 5G data for home connection. You may

    • Sign up plan only, or
    • Add on 5G home router with a 12-mth or 24-mth contract. No installation is required, just plug and play to enjoy, or
    • Purchase Premium Home Devices on Maxis Zerolution (24 or 36-mth contract) with Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139, and
    • Combine any of your mobile line with Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139 plan to enjoy unlimited data for all lines within the same family.

    Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69 offers only 120GB 5G at affordable monthly commitment fee. Available on plan-only without contract or 12-month contract with 5G home router. 

  • Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139 offers unlimited 5G data with uncapped speeds while Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99 offers unlimited 5G data up to 100Mbps.

  • For Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69: Rateplan Advance payment of RM30 may be applicable

    For Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99/139:

    • Advance payment of one month of your mobile commitment plan may be applicable
    • If you are signing up device contract, device advance payment may be applicable


    For non-Malaysians:

    • A deposit of RM300 is chargeable for any of the plans.
  • Yes. Just call us or walk into any Maxis Stores.

  • Yes, rest assured both of your 4G home router contract and Maxis Zerolution will carry over to the Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139 plan.

    Please ensure you are within 5G coverage and using 5G capable devices if you decide to upgrade to Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139 plan.

  • Yes, you may. However, early termination charges may be applicable if there is an active contract.

  • Maxis 5G Home WiFi 99/ 139 plan offers unlimited 5G data. To ensure better experience for all users, excessive and abusive data usage is subjected to Fair Usage Policy.

    Maxis may at its absolute discretion to limit the speed of video streaming & regular browsing if mobile data usage exceeds 1000GB.

  • The new Maxis Home WiFi 69/99/139 are 5G data plans, and there is 30GB of 4G data as backup.

  • Yes, you may add-on One Time pass; 50GB (4G/5G) for 30-day at RM10 via Maxis app or Maxis Care at care.maxis.com.my.

  • There is no contract if you sign up plan only for Maxis 5G Home WiFi 69/99/139.

    Maxis 5G Home WiFi plan is available with optional add-on 5G home router. You may add on 5G home router with a 12-mth or 24-mth contract. 

  • You have the following options:

    • Device Contract: A 12-mth or 24-month contract if you sign up Maxis 5G Home WiFi plan with 5G home router, on Normal Device Contracting.
       

    Only for Maxis 5G Home WiFi 139:

    • Instalment with contract: You may also sign-up Premium Home Devices on Maxis Zerolution (24 or 36-mth contract).
  • You can sign up for ONE (1) home router per line, subject to eligibility check.

  • Device advance payment may be applicable, subject to the eligibility check. 

  • Early termination fee is applicable if you terminate before the contract ends.​

    Early termination fee is calculated based on: ​

    For 5G home router: [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) – (Upfront Cost) x (Remaining month(s) ÷ Minimum Commitment Period)]

    For Maxis Zerolution: [(Recommended Retail Price (RRP) ÷ 24 or 36months) x remaining month(s) of Commitment Period].

  • Best placement of 5G router:

    • Place your router in a central location close to a window where there is also a power source.
    • Concrete walls, metal doors can reduce cellular signal from the tower. Placement in basements should be avoided.
    • Signal strength: Once your device(s) is connected to the router, you can check the signal strength by checking the signal indicators on the Router or after logging into the 5G router web page on the connected device. If you do not have full network signal bars, try setting up the router in another location of your home.

    For better WiFi Connection:

    • Minimize interference by trying to keep the following items no closer than 2~3 metres from your router: Cordless telephone base stations, microwaves, baby monitors, bluetooth devices, wireless speaker systems.
    • Avoid congestion since adding additional devices to your Wi-Fi network may reduce the speed for all devices on that network.
    • Make sure you have a good Wi-Fi signal on your router.
  • Please walk into any Maxis Centre for a one-to-one replacement if your device is still within warranty period.
