Pay with Maxis – General

“Pay with Maxis,” also known as Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), allows you to charge your app purchases, digital content, subscriptions, and more to your Maxis bill. The charges will appear on your next bill.

You can charge your purchases through your Maxis bill on the following App Stores:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
- Huawei App Gallery

Yes, this is known as the Digital Spend Limit.
- For Maxis Postpaid customers: If your line is 4 months or older, your Digital Spend Limit is RM250. You can also update your spend limit up to 80% of your account credit limit via the Maxis app.
- For lines less than 4 months old, the Digital Spend Limit is fixed at RM80/month.
We may revise the Digital Spend Limit from time to time, subject to applicable terms and conditions. Any revision will be reflected in these FAQs.

Yes, for lines with a tenure of 4 months or more, you may change and manage your Digital Spend Limit via Maxis Care (https://care.maxis.com.my/) or the Maxis app (https://maxis.page.link/app), with a cap of 80% of your overall postpaid credit limit.
For lines less than 4 months old, you cannot change the Digital Spend Limit, which is fixed at RM80/month.

No, the refund amount will not affect your Digital Spend Limit for the current month.

The service is available to all Maxis Postpaid and Prepaid customers. However, “Pay with Maxis” is not available for mobile lines under Corporate and Wireless Broadband services.

No, “Pay with Maxis” only allows purchases in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR).

During the initial “Pay with Maxis” setup, you need to be connected to the Maxis network for authentication. After successful authentication, you can purchase content using either a WiFi connection or Maxis' mobile network.

No, “Pay with Maxis” purchases are not subject to the 6% Sales and Service Tax (SST).

Please note that "Pay with Maxis" is solely a payment method, and we do not manage subscriptions for content purchased through app stores. If you wish to stop or manage your subscription, you will need to do so directly through the content provider or app store.
