• What is the Maxis Early Upgrade Promo?

  Early Upgrade is an offer for eligible customers to get better value when they trade-in* their eligible Samsung Galaxy Z series devices for the latest Samsung Galaxy ZFlip or ZFold devices. Additionally, customers who have an active device contract on their Samsung Galaxy Z series device may have the flexibility to enjoy Early Upgrade before completing their contract tenure(s).

• What are the eligible Samsung Galaxy Z series devices for Early Upgrade?

  Samsung Galaxy Z4, Z5 and Z6 series devices.
  

• What are the trade-in values I can get for my eligible Samsung Galaxy Z series devices?

  Z6 series
  Get a Z6 series device with Maxis Zerolution (with or without trading in your current device) now and secure a future trade-in value* equivalent to 50% of its RRP** when you trade-in your Z6 series device and upgrade to the next generation of Samsung Galaxy Z series devices.

  Z5 and Z4 series
  If you currently have a Z4 or Z5 series device, you may enjoy the following trade-in values when you trade-in and upgrade to the Z6 series with Maxis Zerolution:

  Mobile Device	Trade-in Values
  Samsung Galaxy Z4 series	40% of RRP
  Samsung Galaxy Z5 series	50% of RRP

• Where can I sign up for this offer?

  All Maxis stores nationwide, excluding Maxis Online Store.

• How can I be eligible for Early Upgrade?

  You are eligible for Early Upgrade if you are a new or existing Maxis customers and you:

  •  purchase a Samsung Galaxy Z6 series device with Maxis within the campaign period (31 July 2024 - 31 October 2024 inclusive);
  • sign-up for a Maxis Zerolution contract with the new Samsung Galaxy Z6 series (either 24 months or 36 months); and
  • subscribe/upgrade to:
    1. Maxis Postpaid 99, 109, 139, 169 or 199 plan; or
    2. Maxis Unlimited Postpaid 99, 109, 139, 169 or 199.

• Do I need to pay the Early Termination Charge if I have not completed the tenure of my device contract?

  If you complete at least half of your contract tenure as described below, subject to you fulfilling the eligibility criteria, you can enjoy the Early Upgrade without any Early Termination Charge:

  • For 24-month Maxis Device Contract – month 13 onwards
  • For 24-month Maxis Zerolution Contract - month 13 onwards (you have paid 12 monthly Maxis Zerolution Fee)
  • For 36-month Maxis Zerolution Contract - month 19 onwards (you have paid 18 monthly Maxis Zerolution Fee)

  
  If you do not fall within the scenarios above, then the Early Termination Charge is payable by you.  The applicable Early Termination Charge will be deducted from the trade-in value credited to your Maxis accounts. • When can I Early Upgrade to the next Z series after getting a Z6 phone?

  You must complete at least half of your Zerolution contract tenure before being eligible:

  • For 24 month Zerolution contract - month 13 onwards onwards (you have paid 12 monthly Maxis Zerolution Fee)
  • For 36 month Zerolution contract - month 19 onwards onwards (you have paid 18 monthly Maxis Zerolution Fee)

  
  After confirming your eligibility, you will need to visit your nearest Maxis Store to trade-in your device and sign up a new Zerolution contract for your new device.
  

• How can I check if I am eligible to Early Upgrade?

  You may check your remaining contract period in your Maxis App or contact Maxis to check your contract status and early upgrade eligibility. Note that you will have to trade-in your old device to early upgrade to a new one.

  Maxis App > All Services > Select the contracted number > Contract

• I have an eligible Samsung Galaxy Z series device, but it is not/no longer under a device contract with Maxis, can I still participate?

  Yes, simply sign up for a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 6 with Maxis Zerolution (with or without trading-in your device) and enjoy the Early Upgrade next year as the next Samsung Galaxy Z series models are announced!

• Must I trade in my Z6 device when the next generation is released?

  No, you have the option to complete your contract tenure and keep your Z6 device if you do not wish to upgrade to the next generation Z series device before your contract ends. However, if you choose to realise the trade-in value secured under this Early Upgrade offer, you must trade-in your Z6 device.
