Maxis maintains our social media channels to communicate with you and for you to join the conversation, connect with other users and share your thoughts and ideas.

To keep our social media channels a pleasant and safe experience for you, we expect anyone interacting
with us on social media to adhere to the following House Rules.

1. By accessing and using Maxis’ social media channels, you agree to comply with these House Rules and the terms of use of the respective social media platforms. Maxis reserves the right to remove or hide any comment, reply or post which violates these House Rules, including anything which contains elements which:
   1. threatening, offensive, annoying, malicious, harmful, abusive, violent or incites attack or is otherwise inflammatory to Maxis or other users;
   2. socially or politically sensitive, unethical, morally, religiously or racially offensive or discriminatory (including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality and/or political belief);
   3. obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or vulgar;
   4. defamatory in nature;
   5. fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;
   6. illegal, unlawful or condones / encourages illegal or unlawful activity;
   7. promotional in nature, including any advertisements for products and services, links to third party products or services; spam, chain posts, repeated postings or anything off-topic;
   8. made to appear as if they have been posted by someone else;
   9. contain cybersecurity risks including virus, corrupted files / links;
   10. in Maxis’ view contrary to its interests and/or damaging or detrimental to is reputation.

2. Users found to persistently be in violation of these House Rules may be blocked from posting or reported to the social media platform.
3. Comments, replies and posts by other users of the social media channels do not represent the opinion of Maxis nor does Maxis confirm their accuracy.

5. Maxis reserves the right to change, amend, revise, supplement, vary or add to these House Rules from time to time and without prior notification to you.
6. Contests, Campaigns and Promotions. Maxis (or its agents / partners) may from time to time organize campaigns, promotions and/or contests which may be posted on Maxis’ social media channels. Such campaign, promotion and/or contests are governed by its own specific terms and conditions as well as these House Rules and all applicable General or Service Specific Terms and Conditions.
