eKelas is bringing back Anugerah Gemilang student grant to reward most progressed students in the programme!

We are excited to announce that we are launching the fourth edition of Anugerah Gemilang that aims to reward and motivate eligible students to continuously improve in their studies. Anugerah Gemilang is open to all Form 1 to Form 5 students with a monthly household income of less than RM4,850.

Anugerah Gemilang was launched in 2017 before taking a break in 2020 and 2021, due to the pandemic. However, fret not! We are back and better than ever, with the same goal of encouraging students to boost themselves academically.

For this year’s Anugerah Gemilang, there are 100 spots to be offered to deserving students. Those improving in 2 subjects will receive RM600, and RM1200 for 3 subjects offered in the eKelas portal: English, Mathematics and Science. The grant money will be deposited into students’ own Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN Plus) accounts with PTPTN.

Anugerah Gemilang takes place from 22 August 2022 until 31 January 2023 and is open to Form 1 to Form 5 students who have registered an eKelas account before the closing date. Besides that, students must complete the eKelas Pre- and Post-Assessment quizzes in the portal before their respective due dates of 1 December 2022 and 31 January 2023. They are also required to submit proof of their monthly household incomes.
