Equipping educators to elevate teaching and learning in rural schools

We understand that teachers are at the heart of a successful learning environment. Through eKelas, we aim to provide educators with valuable tools and greater access to education content to support their needs. With over 2,600 engaging videos, 1,300 quizzes and interactive competitions, teachers can access materials across the five core subjects of Bahasa Melayu, English, Science Mathematics and History in the eKelas portal, catering to diverse learning styles and student needs.

Working with the District Education Department of Maran, Pahang, the eKelas team briefed dedicated teachers from SMK Maran and SMK Seri Jengka on eKelas in February. The teachers were thrilled to learn how their students can benefit from eKelas content and learning activities as well as enjoy the newly released Rewards feature on the portal. Teachers had the opportunity to have a hands-on experience in using the portal. especially the eKelas Classrooms feature, which allows them to facilitate and track their students' participation and progress in eKelas portal activities.

By empowering rural teachers and students with the tools and resources they need to thrive, eKelas is helping to bridge the digital gap between urban and rural students while reducing the disparity in access to learning resources.
