Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Connect Watch Plan (“SSTC”)

Service Specific Terms & Conditions (“SSTC”) – Maxis Postpaid Watch Connect 18

- Plan: Maxis Connect Watch Plan.
- You: Person(s) signing up for the Plan.
- The use of the Maxis Connect Watch Plan is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-consumer/, this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Connect Plan (“SSTC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-fair-usage-policy/ (“Maxis FUP”) and any other applicable terms and conditions, all at www.maxis.com.my/terms-conditions/personal/.
- Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
- Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the GTC and Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) SSTC; (b) GTC; and (c) STC.
- We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, Plan and our pricing. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the Plan and Service(s) at www.maxis.com.my/tnc, including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s) and/or the Plan (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of Services and/or the Plan) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the Plan and/or the use of the Services by giving us notice within 28 days from the Effective Date failing which you are assumed to have accepted the changes.

- In order to subscribe for the Plan, you must be an existing subscriber of any of the following Maxis Postpaid plans:
- Maxis Postpaid 98, 108, 128, 158, 188, 248 or 368: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid (Pre-15th August 2023) (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid/);
- Maxis Postpaid 68: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid 68 (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-68/);
- Maxis Postpaid 79, 109, 139, 169 or 199: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-plan/);
- Maxis Postpaid Share 48: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid Share 48 (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-share/);
- Maxis Postpaid 69 or 99: SSTC – Regional Maxis Postpaid (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-69-and-99/);
- Maxis Postpaid Share 39: SSTC – Maxis Postpaid Share 39 (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-share-39/);
- Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre: SSTC – Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Fibre (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/maxis-unlimited-postpaid-fibre-plan/);
- Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Home WiFi (previously known as Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Home 4G WiFi): SSTC – Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Home WiFi (previously known as Maxis Unlimited Postpaid and Home 4G WiFi) (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/maxis-unlimited-postpaid-and-home-wifi/);
- Maxis Family Plan 299, 399 or 499: SSTC – Maxis Family Plan (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/family-plan/general/); or
- Maxis Family Plan Additional Member 48: SSTC – Maxis Family Plan Additional Member 48 (https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/family-plan/add-member-48/).
- Only Eligible Devices, as set out in Appendix A to this SSTC, can enjoy the benefits and Services provided under the Plan. You are responsible to ensure that you have a compatible Eligible Device when you sign up for the Plan.
- You are ineligible to subscribe to the Plan if you owe us any payments.
- The Plan is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
- We reserve the rights to change the eligibility criteria at any time.
- In order to subscribe for the Plan, you must be an existing subscriber of any of the following Maxis Postpaid plans:

- Charges and fees of the Plan can be found on our official website at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/mobile-plans/connect-plan/ and in Appendix A of this SSTC, as may be updated from time to time. Charges published are exclusive of all applicable taxes.

- Non-payment for any one of the Service packages or plans may result in suspension or barring of all the Services until the outstanding amount is paid.

- We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:
- shows excessive usage or placing unusual burdens on our Network;
- is for unlawful activities or for suspected fraudulent activities;
- is not in accordance with the Maxis FUP; or
- is for commercial/non-personal purposes.
- We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to block the IMEI of the device from being used if you fail to make full payment of any amount due within 14 days of the statement due date.
- We reserve the rights at any time, without being liable to you or any third party, to interrupt, bar, suspend, restrict the Service(s) for such time as we see fit or terminate, discontinue or disconnect the Service(s) if your usage:

- For mobile internet allocated with your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) and shared with the Plan, you acknowledge and accept that:
- you will experience data browsing at reduced speeds with no excess charges if your usage of data exceeds the allocated mobile internet;
- the mobile internet package used under Plan is exclusively for domestic usage only; and
- you may purchase one-time passes (non-recurring) before you exceed your mobile internet package allocation under your Maxis Postpaid plan(s). Such upgrade is available through your Maxis app and accessible through your mobile device, tablet and other channels as we may inform you from time to time.
- For mobile internet allocated with your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) and shared with the Plan, you acknowledge and accept that:

- The rates and charges of the Plan do not cover the usage while on an overseas roaming network. Whilst roaming overseas, the prevailing data roaming charges at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/mobile-plans/maxis-roaming/ shall apply.

- For 5G service(s), you agree and accept that the 5G service(s) terms and conditions as stipulated in the relevant Maxis Postpaid plans at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-plan.html or https://www.maxis.com.my/en/mobile-plans/maxis-postpaid-69-and-99.html shall apply to you.

- You will only be able to enjoy the benefits of the Plan and Services after the activation of your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) as set out in Clause 7 above. For clarity:
- if for any reason, your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) is/are not activated, you are deemed to not have registered for the Plan; and
- if your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) is/are successfully activated, you are deemed to have registered for the Plan upon registration for the same; and
- subscription to the Plan does not affect your existing device contracts with us.
- To ensure you continuously enjoy the Plan and Services, you must maintain an active account for your Maxis Postpaid plan(s).
- You will only be able to enjoy the benefits of the Plan and Services after the activation of your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) as set out in Clause 7 above. For clarity:

- Subject to our GTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan as follows:
- by calling our customer care line at 1-800-82-1123 or dial 123 from your mobile;
- by walking into our Maxis Centres listed on www.maxis.com.my; or;
- by writing in to customercare@maxis.com.my.
- We reserve our right to terminate the Plan if you have relocate and/or have been relocated to an area outside of our Service(s) coverage area.
- Upon termination of your Maxis Postpaid plan(s) (as set out in Clause 7 above) or the Plan, all benefits under the Plan will automatically cease on the termination date.
- The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
- Subject to our GTC, a principal line holder may at any time terminate the Plan as follows:

Maxis Connect Watch Plan Monthly Commitment Fee RM20 Number pairing function* Yes Mobile Internet Data Allocation Shareable** Add-on Maxis Zerolution No Eligible Devices - Apple smartwatches; or
- Samsung smartwatches.
*“Number pairing function” refers to the ability to share the principal or supplementary plan user’s mobile number to a compatible connected Eligible Device using the Plan.
**“Sharable” means a principal Maxis Postpaid plan holder will be able to share his mobile internet data allocation under his Maxis Postpaid plan with the Plan holder.
