#MYeKelasStory: Madam Lim shares her experience on how eKelas provides additional support and educational resources for students to learn English via eKelas HIP Storyfest Competition
As the nation continued with various levels of movement control order, educators and students contend with uncertainty and school closures. To support students in their learning during these trying times, Maxis increased its digital learning resources and expanded activities to provide varieties for students to choose from as they learnt from home. Particularly our English speaking and writing competitions, the HIP Storyfest, eKelas supports students in preparing their submissions by providing notes, explainer videos, live tutorial and workshops in the portal and app.
We spoke to Teacher Tricia Lim, or Madam Lim who shared her story of how she got involved with eKelas since 2020, how the eKelas HIP English competition helped her students improve in their writing and won National level prizes and co-curricular marks, as well as what she thinks about our overall initiative and content.
Maxis eKelas is open to all students from Year 4 to Form 5 as well as teachers and parents. The eKelas app is available for download for free on both Apple Store and Google Play Store. Click HERE to find out more about us.
