Great, engaging meeting with MOE!
It was an exciting visit to Ministry of Education (MOE) early this month when we met with the new director of Bahagian Sukan, Kokurikulum dan Kesenian (BSKK), Dr. Latip bin Muhammad.
Our collaboration with the Ministry started way back in 2019 when eKelas extended our reach to schools to promote our English Storytelling and Writing competitions. With MOE's recognition under its Highly Immersive Programme (HIP), eKelas students get co-curricular marks at their respective schools when they participate in the competitions as an added bonus on top of the prizes we offered.
The pandemic didn’t stop students from participating in our competitions as 3,500 students participated last year - the highest submissions we have ever received since we first started the eKelas HIP English competitions! We value the trust given by BSKK and look forward to support students with more opportunities for fun and immersive English learning activities.
