In conjunction with the upcoming Raya celebrations, Maxis Berhad ('Maxis'), Malaysia's only integrated communications service provider, has introduced attractive offers and promotions for its postpaid, Hotlink and Home customers. Highlights include Maxis’ Raya smartphone offer, where customers can get the Huawei Y300, Sony Xperia E or Nokia Lumia 520 for free when they sign up for a TalkMore28 and a mobile internet plan, as well as discounts on LTE-enabled smartphones. All of these devices are available at Maxis Centres nationwide and can also be purchased via the Maxis Online Store at https://store.maxis.com.my. Maxis’ Raya smartphone offer is valid until 30 September 2013. Maxis and Hotlink customers will also be able to enjoy discounts of up to 30% on International Direct Dialing (IDD) calls to 10 countries on the first day of Raya.

Meanwhile, Hotlink is offering unlimited internet surfing for its customers this Raya season with the Unlimited Internet Hot Ticket, which is available for just RM15. The Hot Ticket can be purchased at all Maxis Centres or participating dealers nationwide, and will be available until 31 December 2013. To activate their Hot Ticket, customers need to dial *105*16 digit code# from their mobile phone.

On the Home front, Maxis has introduced an exclusive Raya offer for its Home Fibre Internet with Astro B.yond IPTV, in which customers who sign up for the service will receive an RM800 rebate on the purchase of a Sony 46” Bravia Internet TV. This offer is valid until 15 September 2013.

Maxis is also continuing with its Salam Ikhlas campaign, an integrated suite of Islamic content and services which includes more than 30 Islamic services across devices. The latest service introduced under Salam Ikhlas 2013 is the free Maxis Traffic Monitoring app, which enables customers to view real-time traffic conditions from their mobile phone, making it easier for them to plan their journey especially during the festive season. The app offers customers a view of the traffic conditions in 30 locations within Klang Valley, Johor Bahru and Penang. To access Salam Ikhlas, customers just need to dial *222# from any mobile phone.

In conjunction with this year’s Raya festivities, and in appreciation of their support, members of Maxis’ management team also recently presented customers at the KLCC Maxis Centre with special Raya cookies. Maxis also introduced its Raya TV commercial, which focuses on the theme of connecting with loved ones, especially during this festive season. The commercial can be viewed at Maxis’ YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/maxis and will start airing on TV on the first day of Raya.

Raya Smartphone Offer

This Raya season, Maxis has introduced a smartphone offer that caters to all types of customers, with device propositions that will suit their individual needs. Details on Maxis’ Raya smartphone offer are as follows:

Rate Plan

In addition, customers who switch over to Maxis from other service providers will be eligible for the free smartphones as well as enjoy a further RM200 discount off the price of the mid-range smartphones, as well as for the LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy S4, BlackBerry Q10 and iPhone 5, when they sign-up for selected plans.  

Hotlink Unlimited Internet Hot Ticket

Hotlink customers will be able to enjoy unlimited surfing this festive season with the new Hotlink Unlimited Internet Hot Ticket, which comes with 500MB data quota and unlimited internet for 15 days, at just RM15. Upon reaching their data quota, Hotlink customers will still be able to surf the internet at a throttled speed of 64kbps.

In addition, Hotlink customers can redeem two free pieces of KFC chicken by purchasing two RM15 Internet Hot Tickets and presenting it at any of the participating KFC outlets nationwide. This offer is valid until 30 September 2013.

Raya IDD Promotion

On the first day of Raya, both Maxis and Hotlink customers will be able to enjoy discounts of up to 30% on IDD (Direct Dial and Hot IDD 132) calls to 10 countries, namely Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand and UK and US.

Customers just need to dial 00 (country code) (area code) (telephone number), for Direct Dial calls, and 132 00 (country code) (area code) (telephone number) for Hot IDD 132 calls. This offer is valid on the first day of Raya only.

Raya Offer for Maxis Home Fibre Internet with Astro B.yond IPTV & Maxis Home Fibre Internet

Maxis customers will be able to enjoy a RM800 rebate on the purchase of a Sony 46” Bravia Internet TV, by just signing up for the Maxis Home Fibre Internet with Astro B.yond IPTV or Maxis Home Fibre Internet package. With this limited time offer, customers can get the full-HD internet TV for only RM2,699 (after the rebate), which also comes with a free Sony NFC TV remote control worth RM199.

Maxis’ 10Mbps Home Fibre Internet service offers customers double the speed but at the same price as other fibre broadband service providers, as well as a RM25 monthly discount on Astro Superpack packages and additional HD channels without extra charges when they sign up for the IPTV packages.
