Maxis Launches Affordable Mobile Internet Data Plan Via Opera Mini

Maxis Berhad ("Maxis"), Malaysia’s only integrated communications service provider, in partnership with Opera Software, has launched unlimited web browsing via the Opera Mini browser for as low as RM1 a day. This Opera Mini data plan will be delivered via the web pass platform. It is a flexible, easy-to-understand and cost-effective way of getting online without having to commit to a monthly data plan, giving both Maxis’ prepaid and postpaid users the freedom to access the internet, with total control over their browsing experience. Maxis is the first telco in Malaysia to offer unlimited web browsing for as low as RM1 a day.

Whenever mobile users would like to browse the web over Maxis' network, they can easily activate the Opera Mini unlimited browsing data plan and start surfing. Customers just need to run the Maxis / Opera Mini browser, click the “RM1/DAY” web pass icon, pick the one-day, unlimited data plan and confirm the purchase.

In addition to enjoying this data plan for as low as RM1 a day, customers can also surf Twitter Mobile for free via Maxis FREEZONE, by clicking on the “Maxis FREEZONE” icon in the homepage of the Maxis / Opera Mini browser.
