eKelas Usahawan Accelerator Programme Graduation & new digital learning platform
  • The pilot cohort of 60 entrepreneurs from the Central Region successfully completed the intensive 3-month eKelas Usahawan Accelerator Programme, gaining crucial digital competencies for business growth.
  • Following the positive outcomes of the pilot, the programme will be strategically expanded to additional regions, extending digital upskilling opportunities to more micro, small, and medium enterprise entrepreneurs.
  • The Maxis eKelas Usahawan Learning Portal was officially launched, providing entrepreneurs nationwide with access to continuous learning resources and digital upskilling tools.

Maxis celebrated the graduation of the pilot cohort of its eKelas Usahawan Accelerator Programme, a three-month digital upskilling initiative aimed at empowering micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs. Launched in December 2024, the free programme equips entrepreneurs with essential digital marketing competencies to expand their businesses online, integrating practical skills application, mentorship, and performance tracking.

The inaugural cohort comprised 60 entrepreneurs from the Central region, who received guidance on leveraging new digital channels and fostering quality online engagements. Notably, by the programme's conclusion, one-third of the participating entrepreneurs successfully doubled their revenue.

Three graduates were specifically recognised for their outstanding progress in revenue growth achieved through effective utilisation of web and social media channels. Following these encouraging results, Maxis announced the programme's expansion to encompass entrepreneurs in more regions, commencing with the East Coast, Southern region, and Sabah.

The graduation ceremony, themed “Kuasai Digital, Lonjakkan Kejayaan” (Master Digital, Leap to Success), was officiated by Noor Afifah binti Abdul Razak, Deputy Secretary General (Policy and Monitoring) of the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development.

Our objective is to provide MSMEs with fundamental digital knowledge and resources to facilitate their business growth. During the ceremony, Maxis also launched the Maxis eKelas Usahawan Learning Portal, a comprehensive digital platform offering entrepreneurs curated learning materials. Designed for self-paced learning and featuring content in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, the portal incorporates videos, toolkits, templates, and guides to support entrepreneurs' continuous learning journeys. This initiative aims to provide long-term and accessible digital training to all interested entrepreneurs, regardless of their background or geographical location.

The accelerator programme and the learning portal are integral components of Maxis’ flagship eKelas Usahawan initiative, which is designed to equip entrepreneurs and MSMEs, particularly those from the B40 segment, with the digital tools and skills required to enhance their online presence. Since its inception in March 2021, Maxis eKelas Usahawan has successfully trained over 10,000 entrepreneurs.

Through Maxis eKelas Usahawan, entrepreneurs receive training on strategies to expand their digital footprint, utilise social media platforms effectively, and drive revenue growth through online campaigns.
