Helping Veterans Embrace the Digital Economy with Maxis eKelas Usahawan
At Maxis, we believe in empowering communities with the tools they need to thrive in today’s digital world. Building on our collaboration with Perbadanan Hal Ehwal Bekas Angkatan Tentera (PERHEBAT) early this year, we recently wrapped up four impactful sessions with 530 soon-to-retire military personnel, providing them with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to confidently venture into entrepreneurship. Key areas of focus included:
- Setting up businesses on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to expand their digital presence.
- Leveraging WhatsApp for Business to engage customers effectively and build lasting relationships.
- Harnessing Google tools for improved business operations and online visibility.
- Exploring cutting-edge generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Canva to enhance creativity and streamline processes.
PERHEBAT’s mission to connect veterans with better career opportunities and support their socio-economic development aligns seamlessly with Maxis’ vision of enabling communities through technology. Together, we are opening doors to meaningful second careers and sustainable livelihoods for these remarkable individuals.
