Maxis fosters meaningful connections and gives back to the community for Chinese New Year
Maxis recently ushered in the Year of the Snake through a Chinese New Year celebration with the community of Temiang, Seremban. The event fostered meaningful connections, reflecting the theme, ‘With every little moment shared, togetherness grows’.
Held at Dewan Persatuan Moi Kong in Temiang, the event welcomed over 150 attendees, the majority of whom were senior citizens from the local community. The celebration was joined by Guest of Honour YB Ng Chin Tsai, Temiang State Assembly Representative, together with Maxis management and volunteers.
The celebration was filled with engaging activities and a delightful festive luncheon complete with the symbolic tossing of yee sang. As part of its festive charity efforts, Maxis also contributed essential food items to 100 underserved beneficiaries from the local community to spread the festive spirit to those in need.

The event also provided a valuable opportunity for Maxis employees to contribute to the community. More than 30 volunteers participated in the festivities and spent quality time with the elderly residents, creating a memorable experience for all the attendees.
This Chinese New Year, Maxis also unveiled its brand film titled ‘家聚 The Heart of Home’, reflecting its belief that with every little moment shared, togetherness grows.
